Camera Remoter: A Remote Control App for Android Cameras
Camera Remoter is a free multimedia app for Android devices that allows users to remotely control and preview their mobile camera by using an Android Wear device or another device. It supports Android Wear Device / WiFi Direct / Peer to Peer Multi-Communication mode. The app enables users to switch between the front and rear cameras, set the flash mode, and shot delay time. It also allows users to zoom in/out and click the preview screen to take a picture.
In addition, the app offers remote monitoring with Preview Mode and saves the image file on both the camera and Remoter after taking a picture. To use this app, both the Camera device and the Remote device must install it. The app offers three usage guides: Android Wear Device, WiFi Direct Remote, and Peer to Peer Remote.
With the Android Wear Device, users can fully control the Camera device. With WiFi Direct Remote, users can complete the link by WiFi Direct Setting, and with Peer to Peer Remote, users can complete the link by WiFi Setting, linking to the same WiFi AP (Access Point).
Please note that if Remoter never shows a preview image, after Remoter and Camera complete the link process/show up control button, users should clear Known Group of WiFi Direct Setting on both devices and retry again.
